Pennsylvania's mental health ranking moves up to 9th in US

Pennsylvania’s mental health situation looks better than it used to compared to the rest of the United States, according to a new national ranking.

Mental Health America put Pennsylvania at nine, up from 15 last time. The new ranking uses data from 2014; the last one was through 2011.

Both are based on measures including access to care and the prevalence of mental illness.
