KIDS COUNT: Improvement in Health Indicators, But the Child Poverty Rate is Higher
KIDS COUNT annual report reveals improvements in children's health in Delaware, but child poverty is up.

The infant mortality rate, percentage of low-weight births and the percentage of children without health insurance have improved in Delaware, while the teen birth rate has continued to drop, but there is still a concern with the poverty rate.
The child poverty rate has doubled in the last two decades, as it's up an almost 5 percent from 2013 through 2015 as compared to 2008 through 2013.
