Hometown: San Clemente, CA
Hospital: Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA

Witty and wise for his age, 9-year-old Max Page has learned a lot from overcoming challenges and seldom lets anything slow him down. Born with tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart defect, Max has had multiple heart surgeries at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and is required to have a pacemaker.

A Celebrity Ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network, Max also leads the Jr. Ambassadors at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and has made several trips to Capitol Hill to share his story with members of Congress.

Best known for his role as “Little Darth Vader” from Volkswagon’s 2011 “The Force” commercial, Max is also a Ronald McDonald Walk for Kids Ambassador, and has donated his time to more than 40 events promoting children’s health care issues. Each year Max selects a charity for his birthday and donates the gifts and money received. This year he collected money for The Jessie Rees Foundation which gives Joy Jars to critically ill children.

Max loves to act, swim, golf, play baseball and pal around with his brother, Ellison.

Fact: The one percent of hospitals that receive CHGME funding trains approximately 50 percent of all pediatricians and pediatric specialists.
