Urge Congress to renew CHIP
For 25 years, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) has provided critical access to health care coverage to Pennsylvania’s children and teens. Typically, families with CHIP earned too much to qualify for Medical Assistance, but could not afford to purchase private insurance.
Unfortunately, Congress has failed to reauthorize this critical program, jeopardizing health insurance for 9 million children and teens throughout the country.
