Welcome to Speak Now for Kids. We’re very happy you chose to visit our website and are as passionate as we are about quality health care for children. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, physician, current or former patient – anyone concerned with ensuring our kids have access to the right care at the right time – this site is for you. We developed this site to help you share your stories about children’s health care, and discuss what our nation’s leaders should do to better meet the needs of children. It is non-profit, nonpartisan, and, most importantly, powered by children’s health advocates like you.

To get started, make sure you’ve joined our site by entering your information in the “Join Us” box, and added your profile to our interactive map, alongside other champions of children’s health. You’ll see profiles from across the country and from all walks of life, all from folks like you who want to speak out in support of our children.

But don’t just stop with a bubble on the map – add your story. We enable you to add video, audio, photos, and written stories that further illustrate your commitment to children’s health care. You’re encouraged to read other stories as well and get to know the other champions on our network.

Got a question about the site, or children’s health care in general? Bring it up in the forum. Speak Now for Kids moderators as well as our advisory group of physicians, parents, and patients are ready to answer you.

Want to write your members of Congress and remind them how important it is to take kids into account as they debate budget cuts? Send them a message through our Legislative Action Center. You’ll find pre-written letters we’ve composed for you, or you can write your own. The whole process takes just a few minutes but can make a big difference. And if you need information about the legislative process in general, take a look at Advocacy 101. There you’ll find all the information you need to advocate effectively on behalf of kids everywhere.

And of course, you’re encouraged to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

We hope you’ll take advantage of all the ways we enable you to get involved with Speak Now for Kids. But this is your website. What do you want to see? What can we provide to make you a better advocate for children’s health care? Feel free to contact us by email, or answer our forum question.
