'Barton on advancing the ACE Kids Act'
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Thursday Chairman Emeritus Joe Barton (R-Texas) released the following statement on a hearing scheduled for Thursday, July 7 in the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Subcommittee on Health, entitled “Examining the Advancing Care for Exceptional Kids Act.”
“I commend Chairman Pitts and Chairman Upton for scheduling this hearing to advance the ACE Kids Act. The ACE Kids Act will help very sick, medically complex children and their families, by coordinating and streamlining care. This leads to shorter hospital stays and overall improved outcomes for these children.
